The 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L is a new three-row variant of the Grand Cherokee. Both Grand Cherokee models have impressive performance and towing ratings, exceptional off-road handling, and cabins equipped for adventure with all the space, technology, and safety aids that you need. The Jeep Grand Cherokee L is a slightly larger version of the Grand Cherokee. It leans towards a more luxurious appearance, while the Grand Cherokee is sportier. The Grand Cherokee L brings many firsts to the table, including the first-ever option for a seven-seat configuration in the Grand Cherokee. The Grand Cherokee introduces a special 80th Anniversary Edition package that enhances the Limited trim’s appearance in 2021.


The 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L is available with two engines. Its standard engine is a 3.6L V6 with a power output of 290 and up to 257 LB-FT of torque generation. With the base engine, the Grand Cherokee L has a top tow rating of 6,200 pounds. A second engine is available for the Grand Cherokee L that provides more power, which is a 5.7L V8. This engine gives the Grand Cherokee L an increased power output of 357 HP, and its torque output reaches up to 390 LB-FT. The Grand Cherokee L tows up to 7,200 pounds with its top engine, which is the same towing power that you’ll get with the Grand Cherokee. The Grand Cherokee offers the same two engines as the Grand Cherokee L, along with a faster 6.4L V8 engine capable of 470 HP and 475 LB-FT in torque, which comes with the SRT, or an even stronger supercharged 6.2L V8 for the Trackhawk that can crank out 707 HP.


LED headlights come with the Grand Cherokee L and the Grand Cherokee. The Grand Cherokee L also has a standard rear LED taillights and is available with LED fog lights. You can also order black roof rails for the Grand Cherokee L. The Grand Cherokee has 18-inch wheels and multiple wheel options. It adds a sunroof and power liftgate to the second trim. The Trailhawk, an off-road-oriented trim, has distinctive wheels and all-terrain tires, and the Limited can be customized with a special package.


The Grand Cherokee L has a seating arrangement for six to seven people. Uconnect is standard, and you can get a touchscreen up to 10.1 inches with dual-phone connectivity. Premium leather seats and massaging seats are available. The Grand Cherokee has a standard seven-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A larger display comes with the Limited trim and up, along with WiFi, heated seats, and leather upholstery.
